And she actually did today! I’m not sure what’s running through the boy’s mind.

Me and the husb escaped for a few hours today. We took ourselves off to the British Museum to see the Terracotta Army. The husb’s parents looked after the girl and boy (thank you once again). We enjoyed this afternoon but the exhibition wasn’t quite what I was hoping for. I suppose that was to be expected though as I had booked tickets before the boy was born and was really, really looking forward to it. Even though I don’t think they organised it too well, it was still pretty amazing seeing the statues. And, on the upside, I learnt how to stitch pictures so something good came of it!

there’s something really funny about babies in those bouncy things, they go all arm flappy and smiley.
Nice pic.

Oh, I am so jealous!
Always wanted to see Terracotta Army and I don’t think I’ll ever get to Xian to visit the original spot.
EEhhhh, I remember I used to dream of becoming of archaeologist. That was a bit after I wanted to become a milk maid and well before I felt my calling was a criminal lawyer.

Oh, and did I happen to mention that you seem to be a lucky keeper of the Sunny Child.
And a boy who no doubt is going to grow up to be quite a wisecrack.

That’s a lovely smile from the girlie. And the boy is clearly thinking of his next meal and imagining what apple crumble tastes like.

look at those eyes and those cheeks (on both kids) and the stitched picture is very cool – I must admit that the terracotta army would be very cool to see, glad you enjoyed the afternoon
