Well, un-barred actually, or maybe even de-barred. It’s a good job I started blogging this year because with two small people around the milestones are falling thick and fast. Yesterday was the girl’s first night with no bars on the cot (on one side, she still needs a little security) and a proper big girls duvet and pillow. As you can see from her face, she’s quite taken with the idea. I wonder how long the novelty of being able to get into her own bed will last and how long it will take for the penny to drop and her to realise that she can get in and out of bed whenever she wants to. At least she can’t reach the door handle yet!

Ooh big milestone there! She looks happy to be there
Thanks for dropping by my blog. I think our little ones must be a similar age… We’re about to put Zack in his Big Boy Bed, in the next 2 weeks or so. I hope it goes as well as yours.

She looks delighted. I remember Rosie didn’t get out of bed in the mornings until we went and got her for a good year/year and a half after she moved from bed to cot.
