But I suppose if I only have three a year then it’s not so bad (see my convoluted day for my other epic rubbish day, I’m not even going to mention the day I broke the door key).

Today was grim for 4 reasons, (1) I had my purse nicked (again – it’s happened to me 4 times now.  It happened yesterday but I discovered it today), (2) I discovered how hard it is to report a crime in this country and actually now understand why there are so many inappropriate 999 calls – I was close to dialling it myself to tell the police that they should make life easier for victims of crime and should also give out accurate information (after half a dozen conversations and travelling to a closed police station just to check it really was closed – they were so adament it was open), (3) the girl fell over 3 times today – the first time was on a gravel/grit path which opened up her knees so that every other time she fell over it was agony for her – poor thing and finally, (4) I had to take her for her mmr booster – there’s nothing like taking a person who trusts you completely and is aware of what’s going on (it’s not the same as the first few jabs they have to have where they haven’t got a clue what’s going on) to another person who’s going to stick something sharp in them to make you feel really bad - she doesn’t understand it’s for her own good, she just knows that mummy held her down while someone else hurt her a bit – frankly, that stung more than anything else today.

I failed to take pictures of all the rotten things that happened and actually forgot about the blog until after tea.  This seemed like the only reasonable picture to take.  Believe me, it’s worse than it looks.
