Today was marginally better than yesterday.  At least the telephone engineer only turned up 2 hours late after I’d waited in all afternoon – it could have been worse!

On the upside, the girl is learning how to eat her food with two implements instead of her spoon and fingers – we may soon be able to take her out into polite society.  She was concentrating so hard on this I thought she might explode at any point.
