Today’s picture is neither of the pictures I meant to post today. 

The first one I was going to post was going to be a picture of the two chests of drawers in our bedroom before I cleared off the four dustbin liners worth of childrens clothes that were on top of them.  Yep, the first clear out of clothes since the girl was born – I hasten to add that there were clothes for the boy in the two enormous heaps as well, not just the girl.  In all the excitement I forgot about the picture until I’d finished and frankly there was no way I was going to put all the clothes back again just for you lot!

That was ok though because when I went to pick up the boy from nursery they had wetted his hair (to get the lunch out of it, shudder) and by the time he’d had a sleep (and sweated into his hair a bit, shudder some more) and then had a hat on it while we were out, he had the most fantastic up-do at the front of his head.  It was hilarious and I may save it for another day!

While I was trying to get the perfect bad hair day shot of the boy, I snapped this one of the girl.  I don’t know how I did it (I think it might just be that she was too close) but I think it’s beautiful in an odd, over-exposed, sort of way.
