Grandma and Grandpa live in a very nice village not very far from us. Today was the day of their village fete. It was a proper old fashioned day with lots of stalls selling plants and homemade cakes and jams (amongst other things), a Punch & Judy and (not quite so old-fashioned) a display by the local gymnastics team which had the girl enthralled.
There was a big old vintage organ with characters that hit bells (sorry, that’s a rubbish description but I can’t remember what it was called – I’ll find out from Grandma & Grandpa next time I speak to them). The boy was fascinated and went legging over as soon as he saw it. The girl was a little more reticent but still quite interested.
Thank you to the husb for this one.

I love ancient instruments like that! And they do look absolutely enthralled. Has your eldest started to get a little camera-shy yet, incidentally? Ours certainly has, unless he feels completely in control.
