66/365 – Her Turn

Mondays are a bit manic for me.

Apart from it being the start of the working week, I also do Rainbows on a Monday which means I’m out straight after work and not back until about 6/6.30pm.  Then it’s kids to bed and have my tea, by which time I’ve pretty much had enough.

Some Mondays are special though.  Some Mondays I have PTA meetings as well.  On PTA Mondays (today is one but we finished unusually early) I get my children home from Rainbows and being fed/looked after by LNFATR respectively, deliver them to the husband and then head straight back out.  That usually takes care of the rest of the evening, leaving photographic opportunities sadly lacking.

I’ve decided (although I haven’t asked her yet, so we’ll see) that on a Monday the girl can take over and post a picture of her choice that either she or I have taken over the past week.

As I only decided this 5 minutes ago and she’s in bed already, I’m shamelessly stealing one of her pictures for today.  I’m sure she won’t mind.

She’s getting good at this.  My days as family photographer may well be over sooner than I’d planned.

  1. Oooh what a great idea! I may pinch it for Zack… :)

  2. I do like that, especially the colours. Dudelet has phases of photo-taking – I need to get him to charge his camera up again.
