268/365 – Dear Blog

Dear Blog,

I really, honestly do love you.  It’s just that I’ve had Rainbows and a PTA meeting this evening (plus minutes to type up) and now I’ve got to make the packed lunches for tomorrow and then really it’s bedtime.

I promise I’ll find a lovely pic for you tomorrow.

Lots of love

Your slightly rubbish (and a bit worn out) owner.

  1. Dear Barbara,

You know it really does make my blood boil the way you flit around enjoying yourself all the time, never for a moment considering my feelings.

Oh you say you love me, you say you care and you say that you’ll take pictures – but what happens is you swan off with all your real friends doing real things instead.

How dare you prioritise your life and family over me?

Do you not realise that without you sitting there tickling my publish button I am nothing? Nothing! I simply fade into the ether and become a mere relic, unless you get off your arse and bloody post something!

And yet you still insist on putting your family first, even though they will still be running around looking longingly at your Cadbury stash while you are here with me…. Hmm, possibly not the best argument, that one.

Okay, I’ll wait while you go and check…

Anyway, those guys are fine – pay me attention instead, or I shall change fonts unpredictably OR GO INTO CAPITALS when you don’t want me to do that, or I’ll make photos disappear.

I can do that you know!

    Last chance woman!

I’m touched. Consider me a changed woman.

    Barbara

p.s. the kids are filthy and unfed and I’m studiously ignoring my husband on our 8th wedding anniversary.
