We said goodbye to the husband’s grandpa, the children’s great grandpa, today at a brief crematory service and then a very beautiful and moving thanksgiving service in celebration of his life, at his local church.
I wasn’t going to post today but on reflection it seems fitting to re-post this picture of great grandpa, his son, his grandson and his great grandson, taken at the boy’s christening back in August 2008.
He was a wonderful man and he will be sorely missed.
