“My iPad will stay my iPad, the children are not getting their hands on it”. A direct quote from me on receiving my shiny new iPad.
Roll forward 4 months. Both children were poorly and I wasn’t feeling on top form either.
Two bored, tired and grumpy children plus one iPad and two old iPhones no longer in use equalled some time for me to just sit and be without a small child either grumbling at me or draping themselves across me. They played matching pairs, mahjong solitaire and, um, matching pairs. Nothing too exciting but they loved doing it.
I saw this in a shop yesterday and almost bought it. Then I remembered my words at Christmas and put it back on the shelf before the boy, who I was shopping with, saw it.
I was sorely tempted (and not just for the smalls!) but I WILL reclaim my gadget solely for my own use.

Also, it was blooming pricey.
