Every year for the last 5 years the husb and I have put together a calendar using collages of photos from the months of the previous year.
It is always high excitement when it arrives and today was no different. I’m not sure who was more excited, me or the smalls who spent a good half an hour this afternoon exclaiming that “I remember that dress/cardigan/insert other item of clothing as necessary” and “oh yes, that was when we….”.
The calendar tradition started after I completed my first year of blogging and suddenly we had plenty of photo’s for every month of the year. It’s not the only good thing to have come out of this blog – new friendships for example, or photo’s of things that I would never have had were it not for the blog (like the four generations in one photo that I did for both sides of the family – females for me, males for the husb).
It is a happy co-incidence that the calendar arrived today. Otherwise who knows what I’d have written for my 1,500th post.
Happy 1500th post. You are indeed prolific! Calendar looks fab too. It means you have to keep taking those photos.
