I learnt today that the best way to keep my children occupied is to take them to a model railway exhibition.
They were both totally fascinated.
The boy even said that it was better than playing the xbox.
Grandma and grandpa were quite taken too!
The husb probably would have been had he not been left at home in bed with a high temperature and cough.
It was a funny day – the husb was due to be with us and it felt very odd to go without him.
Still, we won’t tell him about the actual proper steam trains and the digital train track, they might prove to be too alluring.
Not my cup of tea, but then I was taken to Railway yards to look at old rusting steam trains as a kid… at least this is indoors.
