Hello.  I’m a 36 year old mother of two (frankly beautiful) children and am married to the best husband in the world (Carlsberg don’t make husbands, but if they did……).  I started this blog in January 2008 with the following aims:

1.  To improve my photography

2.  To learn a new skill (the subtle art of blogging)

3.  To have a pictorial record to look back on at the end of the year.

4.  To prove to myself that once I’ve started something I can jolly well finish it!!

I think I achieved most of those things but I’ve enjoyed doing it so much that I’m just going to carry on.  The thing that could always use more work is my photography – I plan to make this the year that I use the manual a bit more!

The picture below isn’t very recent (2003) but shows me and him doing what we did best before we had children!
