352/365 – That Bear

The girl and I went to see Cats as her birthday treat today.

(The boys toddled off to the Natural History Museum to see Sophie the Stegosaurus – much more up their street.)

I’m new to musicals and have only been to a couple, so I don’t really know what constitutes a “good” one, but we both really enjoyed ourselves.  I haven’t read the poems for many a year but they soon came back to me and it turned into a bit of nostalgia.  She loved the dancing, once she’d got over the volume of the music.

On our way home we walked down Regent Street and took in the lights,

and then walked through Trafalgar Square to see the Christmas tree.

We had two added bonuses in the form of an unexpected Paddington and the fact that there was a choir singing carols around the tree.

A truly lovely afternoon/evening and I hear the boys had great fun too!
