We went to the Southbank today, to the Royal Festival Hall, to watch Michael Morpugo reading his version of The Pied Piper of Hamelin while the London Philharmonic Orchestra played, well, background music.

It was ace. Both children enjoyed it and the husb let me go to Foyles afterwards!
